Tonya Maurer is Director of Operations and comes to Atwood Dementia Group with years of experience in project management and administrative services. Her role includes organizing and standardizing our services, policies/procedures and taking all of Pam's wild ideas and making them possible. Tonya takes care of her well-being by being in nature, walking in the woods with her two pups (Abby Girl and Boomer), long distance bike riding, yoga, digging in the dirt of her garden, bird watching with her husband, and kayaking/paddleboarding in the warmer months. Writing is also a passion and helps her walk through the grief journey as her mom’s Alzheimer’s disease progresses, by putting feelings into words and sharing those words with others.

Debby Potticary, MSN, NP-C is a nurse practitioner who has extensive experience in palliative care and hospice. She manages a palliative care department in a North Carolina hospital, has worked in home care hospice, and started her career in pediatric oncology. As Director of Education for Atwood Dementia Group Debby ensures that our continuing educational programs meet the rigorous standards of excellence for medical professionals. Debby's favorite self-care activities include running, cheering on Navy (beat Army!) as her son is in the Navy, and cheering on her daughter in medical school. She and her husband also enjoy golf every moment they can get on the course and cuddling Charlie, their indoor bunny.

Lauren Tiede is a Caregiver Coach with a Master's in Social Work. She is an experienced dementia specialist having previously worked for the Alzheimer's Association of NYC, as well as the Delaware Valley chapter in Philadelphia. She currently also works for CaringKind NYC in early-stage services department. Lauren's self-care activities include all things good for brain health: reading, crossword puzzles, hiking, cooking, baking, travel and cheering on her favorite NFL team. Fly Eagles Fly!
